Strive Supports Bitcoin Open Source Development, Sponsoring Bitcoin Core and Brink
Strive, a Bitcoin treasury company, has announced its support for Bitcoin open source development, initially sponsoring Bitcoin Core and the developer organization Brink. Strive stated that this support does not influence technical decisions, governance, or protocol direction, and that the financial support comes without any influence demands. Strive emphasized that institutions benefiting from Bitcoin should view supporting the long-term health of its ecosystem as a fiduciary responsibility, calling on treasury companies, ETF issuers, mining companies, exchanges, custodians, and financial institutions to jointly uphold the responsibility for the Bitcoin ecosystem.
