AlphaTrader Launches xStocks Tokenization Service for APAC Institutional Investors
Singapore-based financial firm AlphaTrader Finance is introducing its tokenized stock service, 'xStocks', for institutional and accredited investors in the Asia-Pacific region. AlphaTrader announced that the xStocks service will be launched on the 11th through its asset management platform, AlphaTrader WealthX. This service targets institutional investors and accredited investors in select Asia-Pacific markets, with AlphaTrader acting as the distribution partner under a memorandum of understanding signed with Metacompr and Payward. Investors can access the relevant assets through the WealthX platform, provided they meet the eligibility requirements. xStocks is a product that implements the economic rights of listed stocks as blockchain-based tokens, designed with a 1:1 fully collateralized structure. Currently, over 715 stocks and ETFs have been tokenized, with a cumulative trading volume exceeding $35 billion. The number of on-chain holders of xStocks has surpassed 250,000. AlphaTrader holds a capital markets services license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore and provides tokenization, trading, and liquidity management infrastructure for institutions.
