Ukraine and Algeria have agreed to expand the supply of agricultural products, including the export of livestock and milk. Four export certificates have been prepared, and there are plans to allow the import of powdered milk and poultry meat. Ukraine's Minister of Agricultural Policy Taras Vysotsky and the Algerian ambassador discussed grain supplies and the expansion of exports of animal products. Despite Russian attacks on port infrastructure, Ukraine has confirmed the fulfillment of international contracts and the resumption of logistics. An inspection mission of Algerian specialists is planned at a Ukrainian powdered milk production facility. After assessing the capacities, the export of this product will begin. The opening of the Algerian market for Ukrainian poultry meat is also being processed, with Ukraine having submitted requests regarding veterinary requirements and awaiting a response. Currently, four forms of veterinary certificates for the export of milk, cattle for slaughter and fattening, as well as breeding cattle, have been agreed upon. In the first half of 2026, Ukraine has agreed on 23 new directions for export, including beef to Algeria.
