WisdomTree Chief Economist Predicts Warsh's Speech Will Impact Market Trends
WisdomTree Chief Economist Jeremy Siegel stated that the current U.S. Treasury market is not chaotic enough to require additional liquidity support, and the rise in the 10-year Treasury yield to 4.75% is not a critical threshold. He emphasized that the speech by the new Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh on Friday is crucial. The market does not necessarily need clear forward guidance but hopes to understand which indicators and policy judgments the Fed is focusing on. Siegel believes that if Warsh can provide a clear and credible policy framework, the market may see a significant rally; conversely, if the speech is bland, the market may continue to test the new chair's stance.
