Yuga Labs VP Advises Users to Revoke Blur Contract Authorization
Yuga Labs' Vice President of Blockchain Business, Quit, posted on the X platform, advising users to immediately revoke their NFT authorization for the Blur smart contract, as Blur will disable its frontend on November 12. Quit stated that while the investigation found no exploitable vulnerabilities in the existing Blur contracts, the contracts are upgradeable and could potentially be maliciously modified in the future. Currently, NFTs worth at least $10 million are authorized to the Blur contract, and their security relies on the operational security capabilities of the Blur team. Quit recommends that users utilize tools like revoke.cash to revoke relevant authorizations to mitigate potential contract attacks or malicious upgrade risks.
