Zondacrypto Secures 11 Luxury Cars Worth 4 Million PLN
Minister of Justice Waldemar Żurek announced the seizure of 11 luxury cars valued at 4 million PLN in connection with the Zondacrypto exchange. Authorities are striving to return as many funds as possible to affected clients. In total, assets worth over 125 million PLN have been secured, although some of these assets do not originate from profits obtained at the expense of Zondacrypto clients. The police confirmed that the arrested individual is a 45-year-old woman who is one of the suspects in the investigation regarding the exchange's collapse. Damian Przybyłowski, the Chairman of the Creditors' Committee, emphasized the need to disclose assets that could be allocated for the repayment of clients' claims. Affected individuals cannot expect to recover money from the collapsed platform, and according to Polish law, they may be required to pay taxes on profits in 2027.
