ZKsync ($ZK): tokens and airdrops

What is ZKsync?

ZKsync experienced 3 main stages of development.

The first comes the ZKsync Lite, also known as ZKsync 1.0, launched on Ethereum mainchain on Jun 15, 2020. The main function of it is simple transfer and payment.

Then on Mar 24, 2023, the 2.0 version of ZKsync was born. It supports smart contract deployment, which made it available for most of the traders in the market.

The important progress of ZKsync would be the token - launching. $ZK appeared as its principle token, which makes a huge increase these days even though it is the bearish market.

$ZK, as the native token for ZKsync with the zk-rollup technology, making the transaction more easier, faster and cheaper. The key words for it is “real economy utility”, altering from “governance” of the ZKsync protocol.

ZKsync is dedicated to building a globally tamper-proof financial infrastructure. Such infrastructure must never rely on a single entity or a handful of institutions. True neutrality (a core principle shared with Ethereum) demands that the system remain independent, permissionless, and resistant to capture over the long term, as its tokenomics shows.
