Crypto transactions in North America from July 2025 to June 2026 amounted to $3.02 trillion, which is 1.9% lower than the result for the previous 12 months. The majority of transactions occurred in the United States, where $2.78 trillion was transacted, a decrease of 2.2% compared to the previous year. In Canada, the transaction volume increased by 2.3% to $247.7 billion. Chainalysis notes that the interest of large investors in cryptocurrency funds and the development of asset tokenization helped the American market retain a significant portion of activity. For the first time since 2022, the U.S. became a net importer of bitcoins, with a net inflow of 53,200 BTC in large transactions exceeding $10 million. By the end of the second quarter of 2026, the global market for tokenized assets reached $36.07 billion, of which $15.42 billion were U.S. government bonds in digital token format. There was also an increase in international crypto transfers from Canada, which reached $2.36 billion, up 141% from the previous year.
