Dunamu Signs MOU for Digital Finance in Kazakhstan
Dunamu announced on the 16th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Alatau City Authority (ACA) and Alatau City Bank to develop digital financial infrastructure in Kazakhstan. The signing ceremony took place on the 15th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, during the Korea-Kazakhstan Business Roundtable. The key areas of cooperation include the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) and the exploration of the potential for using security token offerings (STO). The three institutions will also seek collaboration opportunities regarding stablecoins, payment solutions, and other digital financial instruments. According to the agreement, Dunamu will provide technical expertise necessary for tokenization-related solutions and the establishment of digital infrastructure, while the Alatau City Authority will support regulatory environment analysis and coordinate cooperation with relevant government agencies. Alatau City Bank will explore the potential for collaborative infrastructure linking digital assets with traditional financial systems. Choi Won-seok, Vice President of Global Business at Dunamu, stated that they will continue to collaborate to set new standards for digital asset financial technology in the global market. Alisher Abdiqadirov, head of the Alatau City Authority, expressed hope that cooperation with Dunamu will enable the pilot application of globally competitive financial infrastructure.

Global markets on September 16 are focused on the Fed rate decision. On September 15, the S&P 500 fell 0.45% to 7,585.73, the Nasdaq fell 0.78%, and the Dow fell 0.63% as the 10-year yield broke above 5% and Brent crude rose to about $109. The CLARITY procedural vote failed to clear the 60-vote threshold, sending bitcoin down to about $75,600 and Ethereum toward $2,400. Energy led with a gain of about 2.3%. Investors are waiting for the 14:00 ET policy statement and Walsh press conference on September 16.
