Figure Launches Index Project, Rewarding Human Contributions for Training Data
AI robotics company Figure has launched the Index project, which is now available on iOS and Android platforms. The project aims to collect real task data from global users to establish a training data system for robots that covers the real world. Index currently spans 108 countries and regions, with over 264,000 downloads, more than 44,000 weekly active users, and over 16 million uploaded videos. The company has paid creators over $15 million in rewards. Figure plans to invest more than $1 billion in data and computing resources over the next 12 months.
