According to TechCrunch, the cryptocurrency trading app Fomo has completed a $17 million Series A funding round, led by Benchmark, bringing the total funding to $19 million. Participating investors include Polygon Labs CEO Marc Boiron, Solana co-founder Raj Gokal, and former Coinbase CTO and angel investor Balaji Srinivasan.
The Fomo app launched in May this year, enabling quick account opening transactions through Apple Pay integration. The platform supports cross-chain transactions for millions of crypto assets, charges a 0.5% transaction fee, waives Gas fees, and includes built-in social features for users to track others' trading strategies.
