Oschadbank Puts Debt of ESU for Auction at 2.65 Billion UAH
Oschadbank has put up for auction the right to claim a debt from LLC ESU, which owns 92.79% of the shares of "Ukrtelecom". The starting price of the lot is 2.65 billion UAH excluding VAT. The auction will take place in the electronic system "Prozorro.Sales" based on the principle of a three-round English auction with a minimum bid increment of 1% or 26.45 million UAH. The security deposit for participation is 5% of the starting price, amounting to 132.27 million UAH. The application acceptance period will last until October 5, 2026, and the auction itself is scheduled for October 6, 2026, at 12:55 PM. Banks and financial institutions authorized to provide loans can participate. If the English auction does not take place, the bank may conduct a Dutch auction with a price reduction. The debt arose from a securities purchase agreement under which Sberbank acquired 2 million bonds of ESU for a total of 2 billion UAH. LLC ESU was created for the privatization of "Ukrtelecom" and in 2011 acquired 92.79% of the shares from the State Property Fund.
