Polymarket Launches Self-Developed Rust Index System, On-Chain Data Delay Reduced to Under 28 Seconds
Polymarket has announced the launch of its self-developed index system based on Rust, supported by the open-source tool rindexer. The new system can capture on-chain data events up to 14 blocks (approximately 28 seconds) faster than before, completing indexing within 0-10 milliseconds after block broadcasting, significantly accelerating updates for transactions, positions, and balances. The official statement indicates that Goldsky will still serve as a data backup solution, but the main indexing infrastructure has been migrated to the self-built system, equipped with a reorganization tracking mechanism to reduce data risks associated with on-chain reorganizations.
