Stock Market: The 3 Stocks to Watch This Week (August 10-14, 2026)
CoreWeave (CRWV), the Thermometer of AI Demand
CoreWeave (CRWV) kicks off on Tuesday, August 11: the AI cloud specialist will publish its Q2 2026 results after the close of Wall Street.
CoreWeave is a company that rents specialized computing power (servers equipped with Nvidia chips) to AI labs and tech giants. It has become the most direct barometer to gauge whether massive investments in AI will continue.
Its order book reached nearly $100 billion in the previous quarter, with major commitments such as the $21 billion promised by Meta, a multi-year agreement with Anthropic (Claude), as well as extensions with OpenAI.
In recent weeks, CoreWeave has signed a supply agreement for storage disks with Solidigm, welcomed trading company IMC as a new client, and announced an expansion in Indonesia. Management aims for a capacity of 1.7 gigawatts by the end of the year, up from about 1 gigawatt today.
Regarding results, the market expects a revenue increase of about 110% year-on-year, around $2.56 billion. But the real question lies elsewhere: will this spectacular growth eventually translate into profits? Losses are widening, driven by colossal investment expenses. Management did not provide any numerical forecasts in the last quarter. Any indication on margins or the ramp-up schedule of the contract with Meta will move the stock.
Cisco (CSCO), AI Viewed by a Profitable Heavyweight
Cisco (CSCO) takes over on Wednesday, August 12: the networking equipment giant will publish its Q4 results for fiscal year 2026, which also closes its accounting year, after the close of Wall Street.
Its interest lies in its pivot towards AI: Cisco provides the networking equipment that connects servers in data centers, an essential link in the AI infrastructure. And demand is exploding. The company has raised its AI-related order target to $9 billion for the fiscal year, having already recorded over $5 billion in orders since the beginning of the year.
At the same time, it is benefiting from a vast cycle of enterprise network renewal and pushing its cybersecurity and monitoring offerings, making it one of the best performers in the Dow Jones index over the past year.
Regarding results, analysts expect earnings per share of about $1.17, up more than 20% year-on-year, for revenue close to $16.8 billion. As the company had given a high forecast in the previous quarter, attention will mainly focus on AI orders and prospects for the new fiscal year.
Cerebras (CBRS), Results and Unlocking Shares on the Same Day
Cerebras (CBRS) closes the week, also on Wednesday, August 12: the Nvidia competitor in giant AI chips will publish its Q2 2026 results after the close of Wall Street.
This is the most technical case of the three. Cerebras designs oversized processors etched on an entire silicon wafer, which are tailored to run AI at very high speeds. The company went public in May 2026, during one of the most notable IPOs of the year.
Contracts abound: a multi-year chip supply agreement with OpenAI valued at over $20 billion, a collaboration with Amazon Web Services, and a partnership with CrowdStrike to accelerate cybersecurity. At the beginning of August, Cerebras also announced an agreement with the Lovable platform, while expanding its production in the U.S. with Flex and planning an additional 200 megawatts of capacity in Europe by the end of 2027.
Regarding results, three points of vigilance dominate. First, the structure of its lock-up, a mechanism that temporarily blocks the sale of shares held by insiders after an IPO: at Cerebras, it is indexed to results, so a new tranche of shares will be released on this occasion, a supply influx that could weigh on the stock price in the short term.
Next, the gross margin, expected between 36% and 38% compared to 47% in the previous quarter, is a topic that had already caused the stock to drop.
Finally, Cerebras' strong dependence on a single client, OpenAI, which accounts for nearly 80% of its order book. In terms of numbers, the market expects revenue of about $190 million, nearly double from a year ago.
