U.S. Treasury Secretary Besant May Become AI Czar
On September 23, sources revealed that U.S. Treasury Secretary Besant may be appointed as President Trump's AI Czar. Washington lawmakers have expressed concerns about the risks of artificial intelligence technology, while Trump has repeatedly downplayed these worries, believing that additional regulation is unnecessary. The U.S. Treasury Department has not responded to this. Another source indicated that no decision has been made yet. Trump stated last Saturday that he plans to appoint a new AI Czar and form an AI task force, but did not disclose specific details.
