EDX Markets Integrates Fireblocks Network Link
EDX Markets has integrated the Fireblocks network link to streamline the digital asset transfer and account funding processes for institutional clients. Customers can now move funds to EDX Markets from their existing Fireblocks workflows without a separate transfer system. In a statement released on the 9th, EDX Markets noted that this feature allows clients to transfer assets and allocate funds by account or adjust liquidity according to trading demands. The Fireblocks network is an asset transfer network for institutions that connects liquidity providers, lending desks, and trading counterparties, with over 1,500 institutions participating. This integration focuses on reducing operational burdens by allowing institutional clients to connect to a new trading platform while maintaining their existing operational environment. EDX Markets combines a dedicated spot trading platform for institutions with a central clearinghouse, managing settlements and risk between counterparties and operating on a daily net settlement model. EDX Markets completed a $76 million Series C investment led by SBI Holdings in July this year, and this integration is interpreted as an addition of functionality that connects trading and clearing infrastructure with institutional asset movement.
