Trump Claims to Have Earned Hundreds of Billions for America Through Stocks
On September 6, U.S. President Donald Trump posted that he has earned hundreds of billions for America through stocks and other assets, stating that this was for the country rather than personal gain. He criticized radical left Democrats for their accusations against him. According to information from the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, Trump's disclosed personal securities transactions for the first three months of 2026 ranged between $220 million and $750 million. Annual financial documents show that Trump's total income in 2025 was at least $2.2 billion, far exceeding his income of $622 million in 2024 when he did not return to the White House. Trump also shared an AI-generated image showing him trading in the Oval Office, with a screen displaying Intel's stock price rising from $20 to $95. The U.S. federal government invested approximately $8.9 billion last year to purchase a 9.9% stake in Intel, with the purchase price at $20.47 per share; as of September 4, 2026, the company's stock closed at $95.80. A White House spokesperson stated that Trump's stock trades are managed by external financial managers, and Trump and his family do not participate in specific trading decisions.
